Your Data Is Private
Municipal minutes are public records, but your recordings and processing data are private. Only people in your organization can access your data.
MuniMins never sells, shares, or uses your data for any purpose other than generating your minutes.
Encryption
All data in transit is encrypted using standard HTTPS. Uploaded recordings and stored minutes are encrypted at rest.

MuniMins is not FERPA or HIPAA compliant. If your meetings involve school records or health information, consult your IT department about redacting those details from your minutes before posting publicly.
Public Records
Municipal meeting minutes are typically public records under state law. MuniMins helps you create them accurately, but you're responsible for complying with your state's public records and meeting laws.
