The core of MuniMins: upload a recording and get formal minutes back in minutes, not hours.
To Create Minutes
- Click New Minutes in the sidebar.
- Select the board your meeting belongs to.
- Enter the meeting date and time.
- Choose your detail level (Brief, Standard, or Detailed — see Understanding Detail Levels for guidance).
- Upload an audio or video file, or paste a YouTube/Vimeo link (MuniMins plan only).
- Click Upload & Process.
Your recording enters the Processing Queue. Processing time depends on meeting length — typically a few minutes for a standard-length meeting.
You don't need to keep the page open. Processing happens in the background. Check the Processing Queue later to see when your minutes are ready.
Once processing completes, go to All Minutes to view your minutes and identify speakers.
Supported Formats
Files: MP3, M4A, WAV, MP4, MOV, WebM. Max 1 GB per file. Available on all plans.
URLs: YouTube or Vimeo links. The video must be publicly accessible. Available on MuniMins.
