Welcome. If you're reading this, you've just activated a MuniMins trial for your municipality — thirty days of full-plan access to help you decide whether MuniMins belongs in your workflow.

We've built MuniMins for the people who actually write meeting minutes: clerks, chairs, recording secretaries, and volunteers who agreed to "just take notes" without realizing what they were signing up for. The next five steps will take you from an empty account to your first set of generated minutes. Expect to spend about 20–30 minutes.

What your trial includes

What the next five steps cover

  1. Set up your first board — the committee or commission whose meetings you'll process
  2. Add the members of that board — the voting members, so MuniMins can attribute motions and votes correctly
  3. Upload your first recording — a real meeting, not a test file. Use something from the last few weeks.
  4. Review the generated minutes — identify speakers and see how MuniMins formats the output
  5. Decide what's next — export, approve, invite your team, or start setting up more boards

You don't need to complete all five in one sitting. Step 3 (upload) starts a background process that takes a few minutes, so feel free to return after it finishes.

What happens when the trial ends

At the end of 30 days (or after 10 processed meetings, whichever comes first), your organization automatically downgrades to MuniMins Free. Your account stays active, your minutes stay accessible, and you can upgrade to the full MuniMins plan anytime. We'll email you about a week before the trial ends. For details, see What Happens After the Free Trial Period Is Over.
