You've done it: one board, one set of members, one uploaded recording, one reviewed set of minutes. That's the full loop. From here, the question is what to build out next during your trial.
Finish the cycle on this meeting
Before you start expanding, close out the meeting you just processed.
- Move the minutes through your approval workflow — draft → reviewed → approved → published. Use whatever matches your municipality's process. See The Approval Workflow.
- Export the minutes as PDF or Word from the view page. See Exporting Minutes as PDF or Word.
- Customize your export template if you want a specific format — names vs. initials, inline vs. block motion formatting, and more. See Export Templates.
Expand during the rest of your trial
Pick what's most useful next.
- Set up your other boards. Now that you've seen how one works, adding the rest takes minutes. See Creating Boards.
- Add participants. Town Administrator, legal counsel, department heads — people who appear across multiple boards. See Adding and Managing Participants.
- Invite your team. Up to three people during the trial can work in your organization together. See Inviting Team Members.
- Connect Zoom. If your municipality records meetings in Zoom, skip the upload step entirely. See Zoom Integration.
- Try the Recorder app. For in-person meetings, the MuniMins Recorder mobile app sends recordings directly to your account — no file transfer required. See MuniMins Recorder App.
- Process a second meeting for the same board. Voice profiles start building as soon as you confirm speakers. By your third or fourth meeting, most speakers are identified automatically.
When your trial ends
Your trial runs for 30 days or 10 processed meetings, whichever comes first. We'll email you before it ends. If MuniMins is working for you, you can upgrade to the full plan directly from the Billing page at any time — no pause, no migration, nothing moves.
If you decide not to upgrade, your organization downgrades to MuniMins Free. Your account stays active, your minutes remain accessible, and you can keep using MuniMins within the Free tier limits. See What Happens After the Free Trial Period Is Over for the specifics.
Getting help
If something doesn't work as expected, or you want to talk through whether MuniMins fits your municipality's workflow, see Getting Support. You can also book a call directly at munimins.com if you'd rather walk through it with someone.
